The following Career Progression Chart combines elements from the Employee Handbook, Company Values, and Performance Evaluation system to establish a quick reference guide for ProMaster field employees. This chart is not an all-inclusive summary of hiring or retention standards. For example, all employees must pass a criminal background check and refrain from using illegal substances and maintain company standards and policies.
Promotion is based upon the merit of the individual in question upon reaching the qualification requirement and demonstrating the desire and aptitude for the abilities/expectations for the superior level first.
For Qualifications, Abilities and Expectations, each level builds upon those below it. For example, while High School/GED is only listed for the Level 2 Apprentice, it applies to all levels above it as well.
Major Trade Categories (MTCs): Defined as Carpentry, Drywall, Electrical, Paint, Plumbing, Roofing and Tile. Skill in those categories is based on a 5 point scale as listed on the Skill and Tool Evaluation. Tools are defined on a 70-point scale from the Skill and Tool Evaluation Survey.
Customer Service and Sales (CSS): Quantifies the technician’s ability to handle all aspects of Project Management, Client Care, Operational and the IT/Administrative duties associated with the execution of repair and remodeling projects for residential and commercial clients.
ProMaster Brand Values: Care, Honesty, Responsiveness, Integrity, Safety and Timeliness.
