Openings

Apply for Current Openings:

Our current round of hiring closed on 1/8/26. We plan on opening another round this spring. Feel free to apply now and you will be put at the front of the line for the next hiring cycle. Simply read the information below and click on the job listing on bottom of this page to apply.

However… BEFORE YOU APPLY…

Please understand that you must accept a few conditions to be part of our team. These have been issues for individuals in the past and so we would prefer to be up front about these concerns to avoid wasting your time… and ours.

  1. We work all year around in all weather conditions. Our rule is that if the work can be safely and properly done, even if it is uncomfortable, you are expected to do it. If you can’t hack working outside in the heat or cold, rain or shine… ProMaster is not for you.
  2. You must be capable of working on a ladder at heights up to 3 stories. If you have a fear of heights or can’t comfortably work off of a ladder, ProMaster is not for you.
  3. We are a professional service company whose clientele expects clean-cut, trustworthy craftsman. Everyone must pass a background check, drug screen, and driving history check. Everyone must wear our uniforms (they are provided) and maintain our grooming standards. The biggest issue for many male applicants has been our “no beard policy.” We allow a mustache or goatee but you must otherwise be clean shaven. The owner has made no exceptions to this policy since the company was started in 2006. If you aren’t on board with this background check and personal appearance policy, ProMaster is not for you.
  4. We rely extensively on technology, systems and processes to create an extremely efficient enterprise. To be successful, you must effectively use our electronic scheduling, quoting, invoicing and customer management systems. If you aren’t tech-savvy, system-oriented and a team-player, ProMaster is not for you.
  5. All of our scheduling with customers is set with exact, not ranges of times. Our appointment tolerance is 2 minutes early and 0 minutes late. This policy is extremely stressful and difficult to achieve. If you haven’t ALWAYS been a punctual person, ProMaster is not for you.
  6. We have a well-established process and system to quickly vet candidates who apply to our company. If you are unwilling or unable to follow this process, you will be immediately disqualified. If you call our office “to ask questions,” or “make sure we received your resume,” or any other number of “strategies” to designed to circumvent the process or “outsmart us,” you will be disqualified. To be blunt, DO NOT CALL US, WE WILL CALL YOU. So… if you won’t follow the process, ProMaster is not for you.
  7. We have a high-accountability culture. If you aren’t open to personal and professional growth, if you can’t admit when you are wrong, and if you don’t believe you have a lot to learn, then you will hate our culture. We’re going to teach you how to rise above victimhood–to accept responsibility and live, “Above the Line.” If you can’t embrace personal accountability, ProMaster is not for you.

Hiring Process Overview:

  1. Share with us some basic information about yourself. You can hit the “Apply for this Job” button on a job listing page, send us an email, or FAX us your information.
  2. Wait for us to review that information.
  3. If it appears you could be a fit for our team, we will invite you in for a tour of our operation. Keep in mind we have five levels of craftsmen in our company, from Helper all the way up to Master Craftsman. Don’t let your perceived lack of skill or tools discourage you from applying.
  4. The facility tour is where we will answer all your questions and determine if there could be a fit.
  5. If there appears to be a fit, then we will conduct a formal hiring process. This process consists of various diagnostics to assess your skills, tools and working style, then completion of a background check and drug screen, and then several interviews. The timeline from a final interview to a training start date may be days to months, depending on your availability.
